Mathieu L. L’Allier is an experienced strategic and financial advisor as well as a manager and an investor. Mathieu has advised entrepreneurs, management teams, boards of directors and governments on several M&A, restructuring and financing transactions. He assisted many public and private companies on the elaboration and execution of their growth strategies, namely via consolidation strategies. Mathieu worked for 17 years at BMO Financial Group including as Managing Director and Head of Investment & Corporate Banking, Quebec. He advised on numerous transactions with an aggregate value of $125B in M&A and $50B in financing, including $5B in initial public offerings (IPO). As a CFA® charterholder, he holds an engineering degree and a MBA from McGill, where he earned the Canadian government scholarship, and studied international business at Solvay Brussels School of Management in Belgium. He also sits on the board of directors of the Montreal Symphonic Orchestra and the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation, where he is President of its Investment Committee.
Antonin Giroux is a strategic and corporate finance advisor with over fifteen years of experience acquired within investment banks and high growth companies. Most recently, he advised Cirque du Soleil in the development of a portfolio of hospitality and real estate investments. He also participated in the development of a high growth emerging alternative asset manager. Antonin started his career at BMO Capital Markets where he advised several large organizations on strategic acquisition projects and financing and capital structure mandates. Over the years, he has advised seasoned executives in a wide array of sectors including retail, technology, media & telecom, financial services, real estate, video games, food transformation and hospitality. Antonin holds an MBA from INSEAD and is a CFA® charterholder.
Pierre-Alexandre Filion has more than 15 years of advisory experience in strategic and operational finance. Over the past years spent in Brazil, he held a partnership position at an advisory firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions as well as operational and financial restructuring. He advised many leadership teams in implementing turnaround plans, while re-negotiating their liabilities with Brazilian and international banks. He has been exposed to multiple sectors such as industrial manufacturing, agri-food, utilities, real estate and infrastructure. He started his career at BNP Paribas in Brazil and then joined the BMO Capital Markets team in Montreal, where he was a member of the Financial Services and Investment banking teams serving Canadian-based customers. Pierre-Alexandre is a McGill graduate having earned a Joint Honors Economics and Finance Degree.
